Succour Foundation was born out of a deep passion to serve the poor and vulnerable. It began with a simple desire to meet the basic needs of those overlooked by society, and over time has grown into a mission-driven organization committed to systemic change. With compassion as our driving force, we continue to evolve reaching communities, restoring dignity, and transforming lives

Executive Director
Dr. Juliana Olufunke Lawson
Dr. J.O Lawson is a highly respected Consultant Paediatrician, Public health advocate, and Humanitarian leader with over 35 years of professional experience. She has dedicated her career to advancing child health, community wellbeing, and social justice across Nigeria. As Executive Director of Succour Foundation, Dr. Lawson provides visionary leadership to the organization’s mission of improving the lives of vulnerable women and children through advocacy, outreach, healthcare, education, skills development, and rights-based community programs. Her work is grounded in compassion, integrity, and a belief that every person deserves to live in health, dignity, and hope. Dr. Lawson’s impact extends beyond Succour Foundation. Apart from being the Chairman of the Board at Zankli Medical Services Ltd., she serves on several Boards including being Chair of the Lagos State University College of Medicine Court of Governors, Chair of the Sickle Cell Cohort Research Foundation(SCORE) Patron of the Stop TB Partnership Nigeria, , and is a Knight of John Wesley of the Methodist Church. She has been involved in numerous high-impact health interventions, as well as advocacy and community sensitization campaigns for tuberculosis prevention and treatment. As an active member and Chair of the Technical Advocacy and Legislative Working Group of the Medical Women's Association of Nigeria, she has been involved in engaging faith-based women’s groups, churches, and health professionals to promote early screening for women's health conditions such as breast and cervical cancer and promoting prevention of Gender based violence (GBV) Her leadership blends medical expertise with strategic community engagement, fostering partnerships with health institutions, government agencies, local CSOs, faith-based organizations, and cultural leaders.

Program Manager
Nana Malgwi
Nana Malgwi serves as the Program Manager at Succour Foundation, where she leads the planning, coordination, and execution of impactful humanitarian programs aimed at uplifting vulnerable individuals and communities across Nigeria’s North Central region. She oversees project implementation from start to finish developing strategies, managing teams, liaising with partners, and ensuring that all initiatives align with the foundation’s mission to provide comprehensive support in the areas of food security, healthcare, education, and skill development. Nana holds a Bachelor’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning, a Postgraduate Diploma in Remote Sensing and GIS from Ahmadu Bello University, as well as a Professional Certificate in NGO Management, a Professional Certificate in Humanitarian Leadership, and a Certification in Project Management for International Development. Her multidisciplinary background allows her to approach program design and implementation with strategic insight, technical expertise, and a deep commitment to sustainable impact. With a heart for service and a passion for development, Nana is dedicated to bringing structure, compassion, and lasting transformation to the lives of those most in need.

Admin & Logistics
Abigael Habila
Abigael Oghale Habila is a dedicated and detail-oriented professional with experience in both research and laboratory settings. She has worked as a Research Assistant months, gaining valuable experience in data collection, analysis, and supporting public health studies. Prior to that, she has spent one year as a Laboratory Technician at Zankli Medical Center, where they were involved in routine diagnostic procedures and laboratory quality control. A member of the Microbiology Association of Nigeria, she brings a strong foundation in microbiological techniques and standards. She has also completed relevant professional development courses in product management, Digital Marketing, Graphic Design, Scrum master, Project management, Quality control system, Web design, Digital literacy, Advance Excel, Video Editing as well as data analysis at Hiit.ng equipping her with skills essential for coordinating projects and interpreting research data effectively.

Ayoade Adegbayo
Mr. Ayoade Adegbayo is an accomplished and highly respected accounting professional whose career spans over two decades of excellence in financial management, corporate governance, and strategic planning. Known for his integrity, analytical acumen, and dedication to best practices, he has built an outstanding reputation as a trusted leader in the accounting field. Currently serving as the Senior Accountant at Zankli Medical Centre, Abuja, Mr. Adegbayo plays a pivotal role in overseeing the hospital’s financial operations, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, and providing strategic financial insights that support executive decision-making. Since joining the organisation in 2012, he has implemented systems that enhance financial transparency, improve cash flow management, and strengthen internal controls, contributing significantly to the hospital’s long-term sustainability. Mr. Adegbayo holds an MBA in Finance and Management from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accountancy from Osun State College of Technology, and a National Diploma (ND) in Accountancy from The Polytechnic, Ibadan. He also possesses an Advanced Certificate in Financial and Statistical Computing. Professionally, he is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Cost and Management Accountants, an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Corporate Administration, a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), and a Global Member of the Global Project Professional Society (UK). His diverse career includes leadership roles in both the private and public sectors, with notable experience at Odafid Service Limited as Operations Manager, WHOTRIEM Credit and Thrift Cooperative as Accountant, Voyage Construction Company as Accountant and Project Assistant Manager, the Federal Roads Maintenance Agency (FERMA) during his NYSC, and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in the Accounts Department. Across these roles, he has consistently delivered excellence in financial reporting, auditing, budgeting, taxation, payroll management, bank reconciliations, and cash flow analysis. Colleagues commend Mr. Adegbayo for his professionalism, ethical standards, and exceptional ability to deliver results under pressure. He is highly skilled in Microsoft Office applications, financial and statistical computing, and modern accounting software, enabling him to manage complex financial data with precision and efficiency. Beyond his technical expertise, Mr. Adegbayo is a strong communicator, a team player, and a mentor who fosters a culture of accountability and excellence. His hobbies include reading motivational books, travelling, and singing, passions that reflect his well-rounded personality and positive outlook. Through his work at Zankli Medical Centre and his broader career, Mr. Adegbayo has made invaluable contributions to organisational growth, financial stability, and operational efficiency, solidifying his standing as a pillar of professionalism and reliability in the accounting profession.

Kunle specializes in commercial litigation and corporate law practice with vast practice experience on range of issues including energy, maritime and aviation, intellectual property, taxation, finance and banking, contracts/commercial law transactions and public interest litigation at trial and appellate levels. He holds an LL.M degree in International Commercial and Maritime Law from Institute of International Shipping and Trade Law, University of Wales, Swansea (now Swansea University), United Kingdom. He bagged his LL.B (Hons) degree from University of Maiduguri, Nigeria. He attended the Nigerian Law School, Lagos and thereafter enrolled as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria with over two decades practice experience. He is a Chartered Arbitrator and member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered), Maritime Arbitrators Association of Nigeria, Member of Nigerian Chambers of Shipping, and the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA). He is presently undertaking Ph. D research in law on the Blue Economy at School of Postgraduate Studies, Nasarawa State University, Keffi. Kunle has represented clients in key sectors of the economy including oil and energy companies, health organisations, telecommunication companies, state corporations and banks in commercial transactions and legal proceedings. He was a member of the Transaction Advisory Team that successfully led the concession of the first River Port in Nigeria, on a PPP project expected to generate N23 billion to the Federal Government in the next 30 years. Kunle enjoys reading, meeting new people, playing table and lawn tennis, among others. He is happily married and blessed with children.
